CUSTOM DOCK SHAPES FOR EVERY ONTARIO WATERFRONT

Straight

The most versatile option for Ontario cottage owners. Straight docks work on virtually any shoreline, with widths ranging from 3′ to 12′ and lengths customizable between 10′ and 200′. A clean, classic look that suits everything from modest lakefront lots to larger properties.

T-Shaped

A T-dock adds a widened platform at the end, creating a stable, spacious seating area that’s perfect for watching sunsets or jumping in for a swim. Popular with Ontario families who want extra space for entertaining on the water.

F-Shaped

Commonly used in commercial marinas, F-docks are also a practical choice for residential Ontario waterfronts where extra mooring space is needed. Ideal if you have multiple boats or want separate areas for swimming and docking.

L-Shaped

More stable than a straight dock, an L-dock provides a cozy seating area and extra protection for your boat. A popular choice for Eastern Ontario cottage owners who want both mooring space and a spot to relax on the water.

U-Shaped

Also called a boat port, a U-dock surrounds your watercraft on three sides for maximum stability and protection. It can be fitted with a full steel roof for the ultimate in boat preservation — ideal for Ontario winters where UV exposure and weather can take a toll on your investment.

Built for Ontario Conditions

Ontario’s lakes and rivers demand more than a standard dock. Freeze-thaw cycles, ice pressure, waves, and fluctuating water levels can destroy a poorly built dock within a few years. Every Voyage Docks custom floating dock is engineered to handle these conditions year-round.

We offer two core systems for custom builds:

  • Triton Steel Pontoon Dock — Commercial-grade spiral-welded steel tubes, ideal for rough water, large boats, and freeze-in conditions. Expected lifespan of 25–35 years.
  • Mariner Wood/Poly Dock — Pressure-treated framing with foam-filled polyethylene floats. Proven performance in calmer bays and inland lakes at an excellent price point.

wood options and PVC

CUSTOM DECK CHOICES

Our standard decking is pressure-treated Sienna Brown 2×6 deck boards — a durable, classic choice for any dock. Looking for something different? We also offer a selection of premium wood options, or Canadian-manufactured PVC decking (not composite). PVC is built to last, delivering 25–30 years of life with very little maintenance required.
